Three communities, Akim Bontodiase and Abenase in the Akyemansa District and Oda Nkwanta in the Birim Central Municipality all in the Eastern Region of Ghana are to benefit from the potable water with solar energy and public sanitary facilities. This is to help address the intermittent shortage of potable water as well as the problem of sanitation in the Communities.

A mechanized potable water system for the people of Akim Bontodiase in the Akyemmansa District in the Eastern Region of Ghana has been commissioned at a ceremony at Akim Bontodiase.
